As the Cobblers prepare for two pre-season fixtures at Sixfields this week, against West Brom on Wednesday (7.45pm) and Luton Town on Saturday (1pm), striker Louis Appere has been looking back on the pre-season training camp in Scotland.
“I really enjoyed the week,” he said.
“For me personally it was nice to be back in Scotland and I got the chance to see some of my old mates.
“We had two good games and it was nice to be back out on the pitch.
“Pre-season is all about building up your fitness and getting your touch and sharpness back.
“I feel good fitness wise, I’ve looked after myself over the summer and I’m sure with the games we’ve got left in pre-season come July 30th I’ll be ready to go.”
