Jon Brady reflected on Saturday's 0-0 draw at Sutton United, the Cobblers ending Sutton's five match home league winning run.
“I was pleased overall with our commitment and the way we executed our game plan,” he said.
“We had two good chances in the first half, Sutton are a very hard side to beat here but we managed to limit their chances.
“We are lacking that cutting edge up front but it’s not for the lack of trying. The effort, commitment, work rate and bravery to play is all there we are just lacking that cutting edge in the final third.
“We are doing everything we can to bring a player in who can help us with that cutting edge. It’s an ongoing process but we are trying as hard as we can.”
