Jon Brady was disappointed as he reflected on the loss at Swindon Town on New Years Day.
“It was tough to take,” he said.
“We had a strange twenty minutes in the second half that Swindon capitalised on. It was uncharacteristic defending from us and to concede straight away after we took the lead was probably the real body blow.
“We will be better for the game today, we’ve got players who have hardly trained but we have to get playing again and get that momentum going again.
“Preparation has been tough, yesterday was the first time we have had the whole group together and the players are nowhere near conditioned.
“We were excellent for the last fifteen minutes of the first half and we were in the ascendancy but we knew at some point it was going to hit us. Swindon probably benefited from the game they had in the week but we’ve got a week now to work on the players.
“We know we can defend better than we did today and we’ve got to keep improving throughout this season right until the end.”
