A group of runners ran 10K around the edge of the Sixfields pitch on Saturday morning, before the game with Forest Green Rovers, in memory of Lee Collins.
Last year sadly, we lost a friend, father, brother, son, teammate, captain, and all-round legend. In memory of Lee, some of his family and friends wanted to do something special, involving the whole football community and specifically the clubs that Lee spent all his footballing life.
Across this season, they are hoping to raise £10,000 for Lee’s three daughters and the men’s mental health and suicide prevention charity Movember.
Across this season for every club Lee played at, Joshua, his guide dog Ringo and Lee's mates will be running 10k around the stadium before one of their home matches.
