Northampton Town have signed Leicester City striker Josh Eppiah on loan for the rest of the season.
The 23 year old front man has impressed playing for City's under 23 side this season and last season spent time on loan with Oud-Heverlee Leuven in Belgium's top flight.
He also gained experience scoring twice for Leicester City in the 2019/20 Papa John's Trophy.
"Josh is a powerful striker who is someone we have been monitoring closely," said manager Jon Brady.
"He has the attributes we are looking for, he is at the very top end of his age bracket and he has experience of playing both in this country and in the top division in Belgium.
"Our reputation of being a club that helps to develop young players has helped us here, we think Josh can do well for us and in turn we can help Josh.
"We have seen a fair amount of him and we think he will help improve the squad and we are pleased to welcome Josh to Sixfields."
The deadline for signing players to be available for Saturday passed at noon on Friday.
