The Northampton Town Women continued their winning run by beating the Nottingham Forest development squad 2-0 at Harpole on Sunday in the East Midlands Women's Regional Football League Cup.
Injury forced the Cobblers in to a couple of early changes and one of the substitutes, Leah Cudone, knocked in a Fay Noble corner to give Northampton Town a deserved lead on 37 minutes.
The advantage was doubled in first half stoppage time when Alex Dicks received the ball from Emma Billenness, spun her marker and fired home from 20 yards!
The Cobblers did a professional job of seeing the game through in the second half to progress to the semi finals of the East Midlands Women's Regional Football League Cup.
