The views of the Cobblers boss

1 February 2022

Jon Brady was a frustrated man as he reflected on Tuesday night’s 1-0 home defeat to Barrow.

“It’s an off night for us and the result is very frustrating,” he said.

“Barrow made it difficult for us, they put men behind the ball but we weren’t sharp enough with our passing and it’s something we need to learn from quickly.

“I’m disappointed and the boys are disappointed, tonight was a total opposite to our performance on Saturday and we need to look into that.

“Results have gone okay and we are still in touching distance of the top three, we will re-group and we will get it right.

“If we are going to do anything this season we have got to be consistently strong in our performances, we didn’t threaten the Barrow goal enough tonight and that was the disappointing thing.

“We will dust ourselves down from this and we have got to get back to our strongest and sharpest at Walsall.”
