Jon Brady reflected on the point secured at Vale Park following Saturday's 0-0 draw with Port Vale.
“I thought we could have done better in moments,” he said.
“We started the game well and we dominated possession but it was a bit of an attritional game today in difficult conditions.
“We had two clear cut chances and offensively there are times we can choose the better options rather than forcing the pass.
“Defensively we looked strong and solid and we stood up to some big moments. Port Vale are a strong physical side but we were strong in the moments where we needed to be.
“I feel we are still improving but we can get better. It’s a positive point today and we stay in the top three.”
