JON BRADY LOOKING AHEAD TO WALSALL'S VISIT TO SIXFIELDS

The views of the Cobblers boss

Jon Brady says the challenge for his side is to bounce back from Saturday as he looks ahead to Tuesday night’s home game with Walsall.

“We’ve bounced back before this season and we will again,” he said.

“Walsall have won three of their last four and have picked up good results against Forest Green and Tranmere but we have been strong at home and we enjoy playing here.

“I haven’t changed my thoughts about Saturday’s game at Rochdale but we can’t do anything about that now. What we can do though is be better in the future and we are looking forward to Tuesday night.

“We haven’t had too many off days but Saturday was one of those. We only lost 1-0 but we weren’t anywhere near at our best.

“We’ve got to find ways to adapt and the players that come in have got to put their stamp on things.

“We’re right up in the top three at the moment and that was only our second loss in the last ten games.

“We’ve said before it’s very fine margins in this league and anyone can beat anyone.

“I don’t look too far ahead, I just look to the next game and I would never write us off. We just need to be a bit brighter and show a lot more energy.

“The team has been a bit disrupted in recent weeks and we have felt pretty unbalanced at times but hopefully we will have most players back in the next couple of weeks.

“I think a bit of freshness in the side would be good and when you get to this stage of the season you need that.

“We are waiting on one or two for Tuesday night and we will see how Louis Appere comes through training.”
