JON BRADY AIMING FOR REPEAT OF PERFORMANCE LEVELS AS COBBLERS HEAD TO SCUNTHORPE

As the squad prepare for Tuesday's game at Scunthorpe United, manager Jon Brady is looking for his team to reach the levels they showed during the win over Colchester United on Saturday.

“Saturday was a really pleasing result against a side in Colchester who are on a resurgence and for us to play the way we did against an experienced team was really good," he said.

“We scored some good goals and we showed in our play everything we have been asking for.

"I felt we haven’t had the rub of the green in terms of putting the ball in the back of the net but hopefully Saturday can build a lot of confidence with the players and it shows them what they can do.

“We are obviously a threat from set plays and that is something we are always working on to find different ways to hurt the opposition. We have certain ways in which we like to play but adaptability and flexibility is key.”
