Manager Jon Brady provides a fitness update on the squad heading in to Saturday's match.
Aaron McGowan (hamstring) and Jack Sowerby (knee) remain fitness doubts for this weekend’s trip to Port Vale.
“Aaron and Jack are both touch and go for Saturday,” said boss Jon Brady.
“Saturday might be a bit early for them both, it’s 50/50 right now but with a lot of games still to play we need to get the balance right.
“We have picked up a few little niggles this week and we will have to wait and see how everyone is for Saturday.
“It was great to have our captain Joseph Mills back on the pitch on Tuesday night. I wanted to bring on someone who could give us that control and help us see the game out.
“Joseph is a great character and I think everyone at the football club was really pleased to see him back.”
Brady is expecting another difficult game against the promotion chasing hosts.
“It will be another tough challenge but we are really looking forward to it,” he said.
“”The first game of the season against Port Vale was a really tough battle and Darrell Clarke has recruited well in January. They are a strong side and it’s no surprise to me that they are threatening the top seven.
“Our form has been quite good away from home and we want to keep building that momentum.
“To get back-to-back wins this week was really important and it’s nice to be in the top three but you have to look forward and we want to gain ground on the teams above us."
