We are back at Sixfields for the final time before Christmas on Saturday when Carlisle United are the visitors.
A cracking game is in store. 3rd plays 6th and these two sides have only tasted defeat a combined total of six times in 40 games this season.
As you would expect, there is plenty happening. As will be the case throughout the winter months, free hot soup is being made available to supporters outside the West Stand ahead of the game, while half time will see the club parade the More than Football European award as we welcome some important members from the Tackling Loneliness project to the game.
The UK's first undisputed female boxing world champion, Northampton’s very own Chantelle Cameron will be at the game to show off her WBA, IBO, WBO, WBC and IBF belts and the club store will be open both before and after the game for those last minute Christmas gifts.
The club are keeping a close eye on the weather conditions. Pitch covers have been in place for more than a week now and at the time of writing, the pitch was playable. The club will continue to monitor conditions throughout the rest of the week and provide any updates as required.
