Jon Brady praised his side as he reflected on the Boxing Day draw at Mansfield, Sam Hoskins' late stunner clinching a point after the home side had taken the lead.
“Overall it’s a good point gained,” he said.
“We certainly didn’t deserve to lose the game and we showed great character to come back.
“It was a wonderful finish from Sam Hoskins and it definitely had shades of Paolo di Canio about it.
“We have got belief in the way we play and we have players who can deliver in key moments.
“We dominated possession today and I felt we were the team looking to get the three points. I’m pleased to get a point but we could have got the win.
“Mansfield are a strong side at this level and they have only lost twice at home all season.
“We acquitted ourselves well and we feel we could have got the win but it’s still a good point that keeps us moving forward.”
