Jon Brady is expecting to make changes for Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup first round tie with Wycombe Wanderers at Sixfields, kick-off 7.45pm.
“We can’t make wholesale changes at the moment with the injuries we’ve got but we will make changes where we need to,” he said.
“There will be an opportunity for some players and we will give minutes to the players who need them.
“It was great to have Kieron Bowie to come on against Grimsby and for a young lad to come on like he did and make such a difference was really pleasing.
“Ben Fox is coming back from a hamstring injury so there was a little bit of a precaution there but I’m sure both of those players will be heavily involved on Tuesday night.
“Akin Odimayo is having treatment on a hamstring injury he picked up in training just before the start of the season. That is ongoing but we are hoping to have him back in the next couple of weeks.
“We are still working hard to add to the squad but there is nothing close at the moment.
“We’ve talked about adding to the offensive line and we are working hard to get the right fit for us.”
