Jon Brady looks back on the opening day of the season.
“You always want to get that first win and I’m glad we got that in the first game of the season," the Cobblers boss said
“There is always stuff we can improve on but there were some good things on Saturday and overall it was great to get the three points.
“Full credit to Colchester they kept pushing us but to win it how we did in the end showed good character and resilience.
“When we have the ball we have got to play our way, we want to move the ball quickly and sharply. Because it’s so early in the season we were still a bit rusty with that but I feel there can be a lot of improvement in that area.”
