Jon Brady had mixed feelings as he reflected on Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Crewe, the Cobblers coming from 2-0 down with Sam Hoskins scoring twice, his second direct from a corner in the 97th minute.
“What a week it’s been and it was fantastic to get the draw in the end,” he said.
“I felt we dominated the second half and we showed good resilience again to come from behind.
“We pushed and pushed and the players attitude was immense.
“I was disappointed with their first goal, I’ve seen it again and it was a blatant foul.
“Sam’s second goal is something we have worked on all week and we’ve shown good spirit again today.
“We are scoring goals which is a real positive and we will get the defence sorted.
“It’s been a hugely emotional week for everyone at the football club and it was just pure emotion at the end from our fans. It’s been a hell of a week.”
