JON BRADY PRAISES PERFORMANCE BUT FRUSTRATED DOMINANCE NOT REWARDED

Jon Brady praised the performance of his team but was frustrated they couldn't turn their dominance in to goals as he looked back on Saturday's draw with Bradford City.

“We did everything but put the ball in the back of the net and on another day we win the game,” he said.

“We played some fantastic football but just did not put the ball in the back of the net,

“We had lots of chances, goalmouth scrambles, their keeper made a couple of great saves and I felt we should have had a penalty. We’ve hit the bar three times in the last four games and we just need it to go in.

“With the players willingness to win the game we were a bit unbalanced at times and Liam Roberts made a terrific save at the end.

“Louis Appere has to believe in his ability a bit more because we know what he can do.

“Josh Eppiah has suffered with back pain again this week, but he made a difference for us today. I didn’t want to bring him off and I fought to keep him on for another ten minutes but unfortunately he is fighting with his body at the minute and that is why he came off.

“Scott Pollock did well, he worked in and out of possession and he was a goal threat. He needed minutes and that’s why we sent him out on loan to Boston.

“Shaun McWilliams only joined in training on Thursday but Paul Lewis in the tackle he made last weekend picked up an injury. We are waiting on some more news on that but potentially he could be out for the season.”
