Six Northampton Town players were involved for their loan clubs on Saturday.

Nicke Kabamba came off the bench in the 61st minute as Woking came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Wrexham in the Vanarama National League. The Cards equalised shortly after the forward’s introduction and scored a late winner to shock their high-flying opponents.

Defender Josh Flanagan and midfielder Liam Cross both started for St Ives Town who drew 1-1 away to Tamworth in their final Pitching In Southern League Premier Central fixture of the season. It was a return for the latter who had a short loan spell at the Lamb Ground earlier in the campaign.

Callum Cook made his debut for Daventry Town in the last game of their Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands season. The goalkeeper made a great save early on but his side ultimately lost at home to Halesowen Town, who would have won the title had other results gone their way.

Finally, defender Courtney Lashley and forward Jack Connor (pictured) both featured as Desborough Town ended their uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division South season with a 2-0 loss at home to Northampton ON Chenecks. Results elsewhere confirmed the visitors’ relegation despite their win.
