A look at the Easter Saturday action for our young players out on loan or work experience

Six Northampton Town players have been involved for their loan clubs over the last few days.

On Good Friday, Nicke Kabamba featured for Woking in the Vanarama National League. The forward came off the bench just after the hour mark as the Cards lost 1-0 at home to Torquay United.

On Saturday, defender Josh Flanagan and midfielder Liam Cross both started as St Ives Town won 3-0 away to Stratford Town in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central. Cross scored his side’s second goal after the quarter-of-an-hour mark.

Charlie Woods was in action as Quorn won 3-1 at home to Sleaford Town in the uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division North. The goalkeeper made a great save with just over five minutes left to preserve his team’s lead before they scored in added time to seal all three points.

Finally, defender Courtney Lashley and forward Jack Connor were both part of the Desborough Town side who lost 4-0 at home to Newport Pagnell Town in the uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division South.
