A look back at the weekend action for our young players out on loan or work experience

Some of the players out on loan from Northampton Town were involved on Saturday afternoon.

Nicke Kabamba came on in the 58th minute as Woking lost 2-1 away to FC Halifax Town in the Vanarama National League. The forward headed wide from a corner with a quarter-of-an-hour to go. He was inches away from an equaliser five minutes later and had a header saved in added time.

Midfielder Liam Cross started and defender Josh Flanagan was on the bench for St Ives Town who lost 4-1 at home to Stourbridge in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central.

Finally, Charlie Woods featured as Quorn drew 1-1 away to Pinchbeck United in the uhlsport United Counties Football League Premier Division North. The goalkeeper made a great save to deny a winner with little under 20 minutes left.
