The views of the Cobblers boss

21 April 2022

Jon Brady is challenging his side to maintain their level of performance from the Easter weekend as the Cobblers prepare for Saturday’s trip to Leyton Orient.

“We are happy and we feel we are in a good place but with three games to go we have got to make sure we continue that going forward,” he said.

“We had two good performances over the Easter weekend that have put us back in the mix and it was great to have one of those at home to really give the fans something to cheer about and enjoy.

“Everyone had written us off including certain sections of our own supporters and we are probably at our best when our backs are to the wall.

“I don’t mind that, we like the fight and that’s when we seem to come out on top.

“The consistency in performance from the two games over Easter was really pleasing but ultimately to get the wins is what counts right now.

“There were no set piece goals on Monday and we’ve got some good combinations in the team that really seem to be clicking now at the right time."
