The Cobblers boss looks ahead to Monday's visit from Harrogate Town

17 April 2022

Jon Brady has stressed the importance of backing up the Good Friday win at Oldham Athletic as he looks ahead to Easter Monday’s home clash with Harrogate Town.

“The win at Oldham will mean a lot more if we can back it up against Harrogate,” he said.

“We’ve got to put in another strong performance and it’s another game we have got to attack and be at our best.

“We are looking forward to being back at home, it’s a quick turn around and we have got to make sure we recover well but after the win on Friday I’m sure the players can’t wait to be back out there.

“We can’t take anything for granted, we had a really tough game at Harrogate earlier in the season and we’re expecting nothing less than that again on Monday.

“We’ve got to be at our best and if we can put in another strong performance at home hopefully that will see us to three points.

“We’ve got to replicate performances like Friday from now until the end of the season. Consistency is the key and we have got to all turn up to a man on Monday.”
