Jon Brady says he cannot fault the effort or commitment of his players as the Cobblers enter the final six games of the season.
“From the very start, when we had our fans forum, we asked our fans what they wanted from us as staff and a group of players and I think they can be proud of the work rate and effort we have put in week in, week out," he said.
“We fought to the very end on Saturday with ten men, against a team that had won eleven in a row at home and that shows we never gave up. This team has got itself into a fantastic position and I know that these players will give absolutely everything they’ve got in the next six games."
Next up is a visit from Bradford City, and Brady is looking forward to that particular challenge.
“Mark Hughes has got Bradford playing a nice fluid brand of football," he said.
“with the position they are in he is able to experiment a little bit and have a good look at his squad.
“I can’t speak for Mark but Bradford are a big club and I’d imagine he believes he can take them back up to where he wants to be and that is what he will be working towards.”
