On Thursday, the club announced 50 Afghan refugees have been invited to attend Saturday's game against Sutton United at Sixfields as they settle in to life in Northamptonshire.
The club have been overwhelmed with positive messages from supporters and a number of fans have come forward to volunteer to purchase replica Cobblers shirts for the children in the group.
This is a wonderful thought and we are very grateful to all supporters who have come forward to make such an offer.
If anyone would like to purchase a replica junior shirt for a child refugee attending the game on Saturday, please pop in to the club store (open until 5pm on Friday and from 10am on Saturday) to purchase the shirt or buy online via ntfcstore.com (please select the click and collect option to avoid postage and please email your order number to wendy.lambell@ntfc.co.uk)
Once we can match the appropriate sizes with the children in the group, we will pass on any shirts purchased following the visit with our grateful thanks to all involved.
Thank you once again, Shoe Army, Northampton Town we are very much #ProudToBe
