Jon Brady expressed his 'huge frustration' after Northampton Town left Hartlepool United empty handed on Saturday.
“It’s hugely frustrating to be 1-0 up and come away empty handed,” he said.
“Their winner came from one of our attacks and they opened us up far too easily. We need to defend much better in those key moments.
“We are not being clinical and finishing the game off. We created a lot of good chances today but we haven’t put the ball in the back of the net as much as we would like.
“You have got to take encouragement from what you do but we need to learn from those key moments and to be countered on our counter twice is just hugely frustrating.
“Today was a lot better than last week and we can take heart from the way we played but we have got to be stronger. We’ve gone from being a team that was strong and resilient to being a team that is too soft.”
