After keeping the same starting eleven for the last four games boss Jon Brady will be forced into making a change on Saturday with Sam Hoskins set to serve a one-match ban for accumulated bookings.
“We’ve got plenty of options and that’s what we recruited for,” he said.
“It’s obviously not great to lose a player in form but it’s a chance for someone else to come into the side and make an impression.
“The starting eleven has been consistent recently but we will always look at each game on its own merit and make tweaks here and there if we feel we need to.
“In comparison to last year we’ve got a bit more strength in depth and there is good competition. There is a bit more balance to the group with the left footers we have, we’ve moved forward and overall I feel we are in a better place.”
