Local company supporting the club's academy

Northampton Town are delighted to announce that dbfb will be the club's academy front of shirt sponsor, meaning all of the Northampton Town academy teams from under 9s to under 18s will display the dbfb logo on the front of their shirts.

"We are delighted to announce this partnership," said Commercial Director Caroline Lucy.

"dbfb are existing partners and for them to both extend and increase their involvement with us shows the confidence they have in the club.

"The progress our academy has made in recent seasons has been excellent to see and the profile of the academy has been rising with so many players and members of staff coming through the pathway from the academy in to the first team.

"We believe they are perfect partners for the academy and we are delighted that hundreds of talented local footballers will have the dbfb logo on their shirts as they represent Northampton Town."

Academy manager Ian Sampson added, "This is a big boost for the academy and we thank all of the staff at dbfb for their support.

"The Northampton Town academy plays a big part in the Northampton community, giving local young footballers the best chance to become professionals, and offering local coaches the chance to progress too. To be wearing the logo of a big supporter of the Northampton community as dbfb are seems an ideal fit for us and on behalf of the players, parents, coaches, staff and volunteers who make up our academy, we are all grateful for their support."
