Shining a light on the club's work in the local community

12 October 2021

Saturday's game against Mansfield Town is the club's annual Community Day, where we shine a light on some of the club's work in the local community. In the build up to the game, we will be putting some of that work in the spotlight.

Engaging with participants and patients in a non-clinical setting, our work supports a wide range of physical and mental health issues throughout a person’s lifespan including: childhood and adult obesity, alcohol and drug misuse, mental health, social isolation, managing long term conditions and active ageing.

Since 2001, we have invested over £1 million of funding in Northamptonshire delivering a range of innovative projects and programmes that help connect our communities and improve people’s lives.

Our YouTube channel tells of our work in much more detail, including Nic’s story with Fit Cobblers, Jace’s story with the Premier League Primary Stars, Audrey’s story
which explains how we help tackle loneliness and how attending our Extra Time Hubs have helped Alison.

We are currently running weekly Fit Cobblers sessions at Sixfields and weekly Man v Fat sessions in both Kettering and Northampton!
