JOSH TOMLINSON BECOMES CLUB'S YOUNGEST EVER PLAYER

Young centre back is new record holder

15 year old Josh Tomlinson has become Northampton Town's youngest appearance maker.

The academy centre back, aged 15 years and 336 days, broke the previous record, held by Ivan Toney (16 years, 273 days), when he played against Brighton & Hove Albion under 21s in the Papa John's Trophy on Tuesday night.

Kettering born Tomlinson attends Hinchingbrooke School in Huntingdon.
