Jon Brady felt his side deserved the three points for a dominant first half performance as he reflected on Tuesday night’s 2-1 home win over Oldham.
“We could have killed the game off in the first half but we didn’t finish our chances,” he said.
“For some reason we were very tentative in the second half and we know as a group that wasn’t good enough but I thought in the first half we were excellent and should have really put the game to bed.
“Oldham came at us in the second half and it did rock us but we can learn a lot from that tonight.
“We got sucked into playing it too long at times but we’ve come out with the win and it’s a lesson learned for us.
“I felt we gained control back in the last ten fifteen minutes when Danny and Nicke came on and that’s four wins in a row at home which is a real positive.”
