Jon Brady is assessing his squad ahead of Tuesday night’s clash with Oldham at Sixfields, kick-off 7.45pm.
Kion Etete and Liam Roberts are among the players being assessed following Saturday’s bruising encounter at Bradford City.
“We assessed the squad on Monday morning and we will assess a couple of them again on Tuesday,” he said.
“The utmost concern of any manager if the players safety on the pitch and there were some dangerous tackles on Saturday but we are not going to go into that anymore and our full focus now is on Oldham.
“The game at Bradford panned out how we thought it would and we played how we wanted too. We controlled the game in possession and to do that at Bradford in front of a big crowd was really pleasing.
“Bradford are very strong and they’ve had some decent results against the top teams. It was a shame we couldn’t hold out but in the end it was a good point to take away from home.
“The players managed the game really well towards the end and showed how resolute we are. We are always learning but consistency in what we do is important and we showed real strength in character.”
