Michael Harriman is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a cracked rib in the Emirates FA Cup first round replay at Cambridge United in midweek.
“Michael came off with a cracked rib and that may take a little time to repair,” confirmed boss Jon Brady.
“Aaron McGowan came on and did well, he needed some minutes and although he probably had more minutes than we would have wanted he came through it and it was good to have him back.
“I thought Danny Rose was excellent against Cambridge but there are other individuals who need to be better and we have spoken to them about that.
“We have played a very consistent side over the last two months but with a busy schedule you need to rotate and you want those players who come in to really hit the ground running and keep the momentum for the team going.
“It’s frustrating when that doesn’t happen and we have got to look at the players and ourselves to make sure we are doing everything we can."
