Jon Brady is waiting on the fitness of defender Aaron McGowan before finalising his side to take on Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
“It’s one that is dragging out a bit longer than we thought but we have just got to be patient,” he said.
“At the moment it’s still a wait and see game.
“We have still got a bug running through the squad but hopefully soon everyone will have had it and we will come out stronger the other side.
“We’ve got a big week coming up with three away games and it’s important we manage the squad in the right way."
Brady has meanwhile praised the recent contribution of on-loan Aston Villa defender Dominic Revan.
“Dom has had to adapt and adjust, naturally he’s an out and out centre half but we’ve worked with him over the past few weeks and I thought he was excellent against Cambridge.
“He was a strong physical presence and I’m really pleased with him. We’ve had to be patient with him to get him to this stage but it’s great to have him available and to have that healthy competition all round.
“Positionally we have still got a bit to work on but the willingness and attitude is there and he’s got energy and pace to burn.
“Michael Harriman has had a tough time with illnesses and injuries but we believe he is a quality player as well and we will be very blessed if we can get everyone fit.”
