JON BRADY PLEASED TO SEE YOUNG PLAYERS MADE CONTRACT OFFERS

Six current or former academy players have contract offers

13 May 2021

Northampton Town manager Jon Brady says he is pleased with the contract offers made to Max Dyche, Josh Flanagan and Liam Cross.

The offers made to those three mean that six current or former academy players are under contract or have contract offers on the table.

“I know all of the players really well and we want to give the young players at the football club an opportunity if they earn it and are good enough," he said.

“The pathway is there and if they are the best player for the position they will get their chance.

“In terms of Caleb Chukwuemeka, he is on a scholarship contract for most of next season, we want Caleb on a professional contract as this club is the best place for him to be.

"He has still got a lot of developing to do and I know what is needed for him to develop even further."
