Graham Carr says the fact that the club staff all live locally in Northampton will be a huge help to the club.
The likes of Jon Brady, Marc Richards and Ian Sampson, as well as Carr himself, are all local and Carr sees that as a massive plus and he says he will offer all the help he possibly can to the new Northampton Town manager.
“We all want Northampton to be successful and I think the fact that we all live locally is a massive help," he said.
“I’ve got a lot of contacts and I want to help Jon Brady and the club in any way I can.
“The conversations I’ve had with Kelvin Thomas have been very good and in my opinion he is a very good Chairman for this football club.
“He has backed every manager he’s had and I’m sure he will do the same with Jon.
“Lack of goals has obviously been a big problem. I always used to say you could manufacture defenders but you can’t manufacture a striker.
“You need good players to get promotion and it’s important we bring in the right characters.”
