CAN YOU HELP THE COMMUNITY TRUST IN PLANET SUPER LEAGUE?

Calling all school pupils - we need you!

22 March 2021

The Northampton Town Community Trust are looking for partner schools to help represent the club in Planet Super League, an exciting football and sustainability project, and we need pupils to be part of the team!

Children may take part in a weekly education session with Northampton Town F.C Community Trust for 6 weeks and will then lead their families at home to inspire small changes that can have a big impact on the environment.

Whilst doing this, you will be representing Northampton Town F.C Community Trust in a league table of 24 professional football clubs for points and prizes. Can you help Northampton Town F.C Community Trust win the league and lift the cup?!

The project is simple, we will ask you to register against your club and school by visiting http://psl.football, register your details and school from the pre-populated dropdown list and prepare for the big kick off on Saturday 27th March.

There will be a large selection of fun activities online which are simple to complete at home and can be done flexibly around your lives to make this easy, enjoyable and pressure-free for you and the family! The activities will help you save money, have fun as a family and be more sustainable, all whilst representing Northampton Town F.C Community Trust

The registration page is live now, please sign up before the season kicks off on Saturday 27th March and be the leading family in your club’s battle for the title!

"Here at the Trust we believe in many world values and one of those is helping the climate where we can, we previously engaged in PSL1 (Planet Super League Season 1) and was humbled by the number of families who wanted to not only help the club up the league table by completed tasks and activities to earn points but also to understand better why those activities can change their lifestyles and help the planet," said Damon Fox, Schools & Business Development Manager for the Northampton Town FC Community Trust.

"The Planet Super League team are engaging and offer energy and rewards to help us be able to attract families to the programme, our team of Education Sport Mentors also played their part in completing tasks via video and social media posts which we will do again.

"We can't wait to get started again with a bigger and better impact between the Trust and the community."

The Clarke family took part in a previous Planet Super League and Michelle said, "Representing NTFC in the Planet Super League was great fun for all the family and I enjoyed the push it gave us to get outdoors and embrace nature whilst doing our bit for the planet and NTFC."

Joe added: "I really enjoyed PSL because I got to have lots of family fun with screen free time and going outside more whilst competing to be top of the league for NTFC."

Thank you to the Clarke family for their support, why not join them via http://psl.football and be part of our PSL team?!
