Jon Brady says the Cobblers are looking forward to a busy Easter weekend as he previewed Friday’s home game with Shrewsbury Town.
After the game with the Shrews, Northampton Town head to Hull City on Easter Monday and Brady says that while both games will be tough for his squad, they are up for the battle.
“It’s been a strong week in training and I feel we are ready to go again,” he said.
“The response from the players has been really positive, the messages we are giving to the players are clear and our focus remains the same. We go into every game trying to win it and we will give our all again.
“We are giving the players every opportunity but when you cross that white line as a player you are in control.
“Shrewsbury are a side that don’t give much away, they are strong and solid but again the focus has to be on us. Games are going to be tight and you are not going to get everything your own way.
“Each team is different but we know our delivery and quality in the final third needs to be better.
“We are giving the players every opportunity to win games of football, if what you are working on doesn’t come to fruition you have to find another way.
“I feel we have made a positive change and I’ve got no regrets about everything we have done so far. We are in the fight and we will keep fighting. One thing you can’t label at us is a lack of effort. The players have and will continue to give it everything for each of the final eight games.”
