Jon Brady has some injury concerns to contend with ahead of the midweek clash with Oxford United at the PTS Academy Stadium.
“Jack Sowerby is having a scan on a knee problem,” confirmed Brady. "We are waiting to see how he is and the results of that scan.
“Mickel Miller is being checked over by the physio and is touch and go for Tuesday, but on the flip side, Alan Sheehan has started to train more consistently and is getting closer."
Meanwhile, Brady has praised Sam Hoskins who played in the central striker role against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
“In my opinion, Sam Hoskins is the most natural finisher we have in the squad and we asked him to do a job up front on Saturday," he said.
“Our quality against Crewe wasn’t good enough to get him in but Sam is a fantastic lad and he gives absolutely everything for this football club in whatever position he is asked to play.
“Our top scorer doesn't have that many goals to their name so we have to be realistic, we have struggled for goals for most of the season. A couple of weeks ago we were scoring goals again and we need to get back to that through the final ten games of the season.”
