Defender Alan Sheehan is facing a short spell on the sidelines after undergoing a calf scan.
“Alan will be out for around three to four weeks,” confirmed caretaker boss Jon Brady.
“Cian Bolger has had a scan on his hip and we are monitoring that situation but he could potentially be out for a spell as well as he needs some rest."
Turning his attention to the visit of Portsmouth on Saturday Brady said:
“Portsmouth are a quality side and they will be a big test as every team is.
“They will come here with the pressure on them, they are pushing for promotion and they will be expected to win.
“They are a good side with strengths and weaknesses, but we feel that there are ways which we can hurt them, we are getting stronger ourselves and why can’t the momentum start with us?”
