Jon Brady praised his players as he looked back on Saturday’s goalless draw at promotion chasers Doncaster Rovers, a point lifting the Cobblers out of the bottom four.
“The application from the players was first class, we worked really hard and it was a good all round performance,” he said.
“We had a couple of good chances and apart from one save in the first half Jonathan Mitchell didn’t have too much to do.
“We have picked up four points from play-off contenders in the space of a week and that is a real positive to focus on and build on.
“The attitude of the players has been brilliant, the fixtures have been relentless for everyone and it will be nice to have a week now to refresh.”
