Striker Nicke Kabamba is Northampton Town's first new signing of the summer.
The former Portsmouth, Hartlepool United and Kilmarnock striker is pleased to have sorted his future so quickly after the end of the season, and is looking forward to getting started at the Cobblers.
“I’m happy to be on board and sign for an ambitious club," he said.
“I know last season was tough but I want to do everything I can to hopefully help this club back up to League 1.
“I’ve been playing up in Scotland but I’ve still been keeping an eye on results in England, I’ve got a few friends who have been here and I know this league quite well.
“I’m happy to be back in England and hopefully at a team who will be competing for promotion.
“I had a long chat with the Gaffer, he’s got a really good vibe and he made it really easy for me to make the decision to come here.
“He has filled me with confidence and I can’t wait to get started.
“Getting this move sorted early was definitely the best thing for me and I’m really grateful for that.
“I can now prepare to hit the ground running in pre-season.
“I have a varied career but I feel I now need somewhere I can settle and grow as a player.
“I am really looking forward to the season ahead and I feel I can score goals here.”
