Midfielder Jordan Flores has been speaking about his season-long loan move to Sixfields from Hull City.
The former Wigan Athletic man says he was very keen to make the switch as soon as he heard of the interest.
“My agent told me there was interest and after I spoke to the Gaffer and Martin Foyle within a day it all got sorted and I’m delighted to be here,” he said.
“It helps knowing that I am here for the whole season, I’m really looking forward to it and with the deal being agreed now it means I get to do pre-season here as well which is quite rare for a loan deal."
Talking about his career to date which included a spell at Dundalk, the left-footed midfielder continued:
“I went over to Ireland to re-build my career a little bit and I feel like I did that.
“When I came back to England to sign for Hull I didn’t really get the minutes that I wanted but I’m really looking forward to this new challenge.
“The gaffer said he sees me slotting in on the left-hand side of midfield and I’ll be looking to do that job.
“I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and hopefully having a successful season.”
