Dylan Connolly is the latest summer arrival to talk about how he is looking forward to being part of manager Jon Brady's plans.
“When I spoke to the manager about what he wanted to do, how he wanted to play and the goals for the season it excited me,” he said.
“I think the way the Gaffer wants to play suits my game perfectly and when I came down to see the training ground and the area it was really a no brainer for me to sign.
“I’ve had quite a varied career and I’ve played in a few different leagues but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve had some really good experiences, this is a new experience for me and I’m looking forward to it.
“I’m hard working, I can play on the right or left wing, I have pace, power and I like to get balls into the box.
“I like to try and make things happen out of nothing and give the team a spark.
“I thrive off competition and I like to have that competitiveness to get into the team. There are some good attacking players here and I’m looking forward to having the competition. It pushes everyone to have that competition and I’m just excited to get going now.
“I think everyone dreads pre-season a little bit but you just have to suck it up and get as much as you can out of it.
“Pre-season goes a long way to setting you up for the season and you need to have that base to build from.”
