Jon Brady has been speaking about the hard work that is taking place as the Cobblers prepare for the squad to return for pre-season training in late June and how pleased he is to have experienced Head of Recruitment Martin Foyle on board.
“I’ve been in every single day and we are working hard in the off-season to make sure that everything is in place to make sure that when we come back in for pre-season on 24 June we hit the ground running," he said.
“I am delighted to have Martin Foyle on board with us. Martin knows the club and he knows League 2 and League 1 really well.
“Although he’s been working in Scotland he knows a lot of players in and around League’s 1 and 2 because that’s where a lot of their recruitment comes from.
“He had a great track record at Motherwell bringing players in and all things considered he was a fantastic candidate.
“He’s played the game at the top level and He is very well respected.
“We want the club held in a good light and Martin’s knowledge and experience can only help our standing and profile within the game.
“It’s a new relationship for me with Martin but we are both working extremely hard to bring in the best players we can for Northampton Town."
