Jon Brady said there was plenty to be encouraged about as he reflected on the pre-season friendly with West Ham United.
“It was a bit of a slow start for us and we conceded two goals early on but we grew into the game after that and looked a lot better in the second half,” he said.
“Overall it’s still about building up the players fitness but I thought the young players that came on did really well and played with freedom.
“There is plenty to work on at the moment but all in all it was a good run out and we have a clean bill of health which is just as important.”
