Jon Brady has been speaking about the club’s transfer business so far this summer, and says he is pleased with the players he has brought to the club.
“We feel strong with the business we’ve done and what we’ve seen in training backs that up,” he said.
“We have started to develop something over the past couple of weeks and we want to develop that a lot further. We’ve got a lot of new bodies in the squad and once the season starts we just want to make sure that we are improving game by game and if we are still improving ten to fifteen games into the season I feel that is a good marker for us.
“There are some areas we are still looking at and we are talking to targets. It is a bit of a work in progress but everything has to be the fit we are after.
“We’ve been strong with the business we’ve done early but we are also being patient and diligent in our process and we feel there will be one or two more signings over the next couple of weeks.
“The type of player we have generally gone for has been of an age where the player is still on an upward curve in their career. It is going to be quite a developing squad we have and it’s important that we are trying to build here for the future.
“We are building a tight unit and right now we are really happy with what we’ve got in the squad.”
