Casual Academy Skills Centre Coaches
Northampton Town Football Club Academy is looking to recruit a number of casual Skills Centre Coaches to work with ages 5-11 year olds in a professional, fun environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Delivering of age specific syllabus to players in their charge.
• Communicating effectively with all team members and reporting back to the Skills Centre Coordinator.
• Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent coaching.
Personal Specification
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
• Proven coaching experience.
• An ability to differentiate tasks based on ability and key stages of player/child development.
• An approachable manner towards young people.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with other department members and coaching staff.
• Willing to work flexible and unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.
Essential Qualities and Qualifications:
• FA Level 1
• Hold a current FA Level 1 Emergency First Aid in Football (previously known as FA Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS) certificate)
• Member of FA Licenced Coaches Club (current and up to date including CPD hours) and Attribute’s
Desirable
• FA Youth Award (Modules 1, 2 and 3)
Due to this post being in regulated activity, the potential employee will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the appropriate level.

Casual Academy Development Centre Goalkeeper Coach
Northampton Town Football Club Academy is looking to recruit a part time Development Centre Goalkeeper Coach to work with the Under 7-14s Goalkeepers.
Roles and Responsibilities
• The role includes overseeing an age specific programme to the Under 7-14s goalkeepers.
• Delivering of age specific syllabus to players in their charge.
• Ensuring each goalkeeper in the U7-14s groups has an Individual Learning Plan that is monitored and periodically reviewed. Assisting the Head of Coaching and Lead phase coaches in developing and delivering the ILPs for these players.
• Completing online and electronic reviewing and assessments of players and sessions.
• Communicating effectively with all team members and reporting back to the Lead Phase Coach.
• Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent coaching.

• FA Level 2 GK award
