KEITH CURLE PROVIDES A SQUAD UPDATE

Keith Curle has provided an update on the fitness of his squad ahead of Saturday's visit from Wigan Athletic.

He says that Mickel Miller could be out for between ten days and three weeks, although he is however hopeful of having both Alan Sheehan and Jack Sowerby back in the next week.

“Mickel has a grade 1 tear which usually takes around ten days to three weeks,” he said.

“Alan is continuing to progress and we are hopeful that both Alan and Jack will be available within the next week."

With the transfer window closing on Monday, Curle has said he is happy with his January business this month.

“I think we are in a good place with the squad as it is at the moment and we are happy with the five loans we’ve got in.

“We have got spaces available but as I’ve said before we will only bring in the right player with the right calibre.

“Gems sometimes become available at the end of the window and if the right player does become available we are ready to move but if nothing strikes us then we are delighted with the business we have conducted this month.”
