KEITH CURLE AIMING FOR PROGRESS AS COBBLERS LOOK TO EQUAL BEST EVER RUN IN PAPA JOHN'S TROPHY COMPETITION

The Cobblers boss looks ahead to Tuesday night's tie

12 January 2021

Cobblers boss Keith Curle is looking for a positive result as he previews Tuesday night’s Papa John’s Trophy tie with MK Dons.

A win would equal the Cobblers best ever run in this competition.

“We’ve gone into every game putting a team out we believe can win,” he said.

“There will be changes to the team on Tuesday night to give players game time who need it but we will be competitive.

“The attitude from the players is that every game is an opportunity.

“We’ve had some time on the training ground to revisit some of our fundamentals.

“The time we’ve had without a game has been well spent but we are looking forward to the game on Tuesday night.

“We know we have been through some challenging times this season and we will have some more of those but the attitude of the players has really shone through in the last couple of games.”
