Cobblers boss Keith Curle is looking forward to Tuesday's re-arranged trip to Blackpool.
“We’ve got 23 cup finals to play and we are looking forward to every single one of them,” he said.
“It was a frustrating weekend for us and we were all geared up for the game.
“We’ve been buoyed by recent performances, things have really started to take shape and the players all look forward to game day.
“We’ve trained as much as possible with the weather we’ve had and you want to see that take fruition.
“Seven or eight weeks ago the teams in and around us all had games in hand but those games have now evaporated with not too much difference in terms of points.
“There are going to be lots of twists and turns in the second half of the season but we know ultimately it’s about what we do.
“Every point that is available we are going to compete for. You can’t pick and choose your games and we are going to give it absolutely everything in these 23 games.”
